Beyond the Beauty Industry’s Default Advice
A short guide for women navigating skin aging after 40.
I wrote this guide after many years of listening—to women, to skin, and to myself.
So much of the beauty advice offered to women over forty feels loud, repetitive, and strangely disconnected from how skin actually behaves as it matures. Vitamin C. Retinol. Botox. These recommendations are everywhere, often presented as the only reasonable path forward.
This guide is not about rejecting everything outright.
It is about stepping back from default advice and looking at skin more calmly, more intelligently, and more holistically.
Inside, I share how I think about antioxidant support, renewal, facial care, and the skin barrier—not as isolated fixes, but as part of a living system that responds best to consistency, restraint, and support. This is the perspective that informs my formulations, my teaching, and my work with women.
If you’re curious about a quieter, more sustainable way of caring for your skin after forty, you’re welcome to begin here.
